Chinese orbital station will soon fall to Earth
According to the latest information, the station "TianGong 1" will descend from orbit and fall to Earth in the period from March 31 to April 4. The Chinese space center says that the fall will be uncontrollable, in this case where the station will fall is not known. According to preliminary calculations, the place of fall may be: southern Europe, the Middle East, Africa and South-East Asia. Scientists claim that this threat will not bring any threat, because the bulk of the station will simply burn in the atmosphere, and the fragments, if they fly, do not pose any danger to humanity. Holger Krag, a well-known scientist involved in the tracking of space debris, claims that usually a few dozen large objects reach the Earth, but they burn in the atmosphere, and the risk of injuring the debris is equal to the chances of getting a lightning strike twice a year. Forecasts for the fall of the station were by the end of 2017, but according to the latest data, this will happen in the spring of 2018.
