Microsoft intends to engage in the development of mobile controllers
This year, Microsoft announced its own streaming service Project xCloud. This service is great for broadcasting games from the Xbox and PC. Mobile devices can also be broadcast, but this is not very convenient to do. The game world does not stand still, and even games for mobile devices can also participate in cyber sport. But for a good game, the user needs a good controller. As it turned out, Microsoft has already started developing its own controllers for smartphones. This is evidenced by a research document, which published the publication WindowsCentral, in it tells in detail about the prototypes of Xbox-controllers. These prototypes were made from foam and printed on a 3D printer. Also in the materials were described and popular controllers Nintendo DS and Switch. It also became known that the company had already patented this project, and they had been developing it for quite a while. On the one hand, this controller, though far from the finished device, but it would be more logical to release the device before running Project xCloud, in order to avoid negative from users with mobile devices. But on the other hand, it is better to postpone a bit with the release and release a really good product that will not be equal in the market.
