Google Pixel 2 and Pixel got Super Res Zoom and Astrophotography mode
As you know, Google announced that older Pixel models will not receive these innovations. After the release of Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL, the company updated its own camera to version 7.2 and introduced a couple of very worthwhile modes. We are talking about the modes: Astrophotography mode, thanks to which it will be possible to make incredible pictures of the starry sky; Super Res Zoom, which will help to take a photo as close as possible without any loss in quality. Unfortunately, the older versions of Pixel did not receive these innovations, but people from XDA-Developers were able to port new features for the camera on the Pixel and Pixel 2. In Super Res Zoom mode, the camera takes several pictures of distant objects as close as possible. Thanks to a special algorithm, several pictures are combined together and create one high-quality picture with a mass of details. This technology has been added for the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones. Astrophotography mode allows you to create pictures of the starry sky, for this it is enough to select the night mode and install the smartphone on a tripod. When the application locks in a stable position, the smartphone will switch to astrophotography mode. To make a successful photo, you need an excerpt from 1 to 4 minutes.
