Android Flash Tool - a new service from Google for quick flashing
Google introduced the new Android Flash Tool service, its task is to quickly and easily flash Android devices. The service is compatible with the operating systems Windows, macOS, Linux and Chrome OS. This online application is a simpler and more comfortable replacement for complex streets like the SP Flash Tool. At the moment, the service works with Pixel devices; support for firmware included in the framework of the Android Open Source Project, updates released by the company itself and patches for AOSP assemblies are also announced. As for the Pixel models, the support concerns the latest 3 versions, starting with Google Pixel 2. It is still unknown whether the list of smartphones will be expanded, but everything is quite possible. To reflash a smartphone through the Android Flash Tool, you do not need to look for an operating system image, just have a USB cable and the right browser. For comfortable work, you need a browser with WebUSB support, or rather Microsoft Edge 79, Chrome 61 or Opera 43. To get started, you need to enable USB debugging on your Android device, as well as activate factory unlock in the developer's menu. Only after all these steps, you can safely connect the smartphone to the PC and start working with the Android Flash Tool service.
