Google Pay Card - own payment card from Google

TechCrunch shared information that Google intends to issue its own credit card as part of its payment service with more advanced features compared to conventional cards. We remind you that a year ago Apple and then Huawei came up with their own credit card. Probably, Google decided to keep up with its competitors and issue its own card. The very mention of a physical card was found in the Google Pay application. The card will be issued jointly with Visa, but support by MasterCard, partner banks is not excluded, it will offer all the possibilities of a payment service, and will also support contactless payment. Through the Google Pay application, you can view the transaction history, order a new or block a card, make transfers and replenish your own account, and the like. Google Pay Card will be available not only in physical but also in virtual form. Thus, you can make purchases via the Internet, make payments using your smartphone or use the card itself.

Most likely, this card will be initially available only to residents of the United States, but perhaps the company will be able to agree on cooperation with banks around the world. At the moment there are no official statements from Google regarding the physical card, but the company talked about cooperation with some banks and credit organizations, and also promised to notify about upcoming news in the near future.
