Specifications

At the Foxconn factory in China, a test assembly of new Apple smartphones has started, rethought by developers in accordance with EU rules and the requirements of the new time. Apparently, users should not wait for revolutionary changes, but we will definitely see several useful innovations.

Thus, the branded Lightning connector will be replaced with a universal Type C, the screen will be increased by 0.1 inches, there will be functions designed for people with disabilities (speech synthesis mode, in which the printed text will be voiced by the program), some of the physical buttons on the edges will be replaced by touch ones, and the battery life of iPhone 15 Ultra will double.

The improvements are expected to make the iPhone 15 cost higher by $100-$200 compared to previous smartphones, but demand is not expected to drop. iPhone Pro version will cost customers about $899, while the price of Pro Max can rise to $1299-1799 predicted by specialists. When booking a smartphone, the company promises a fixed price with no unpleasant surprises when buying and advises future buyers not to ignore the pre-order.

As expected, iPhone 15 will be available in four colour options: gold, silver, deep red and black.

Unexpected obstacles

Unfortunately, at this stage, manufacturers are faced with an unexpected obstacle in the form of a shortage of workers at the factory, which may shift the serial production dates to this autumn.

It is worth noting that this is not the first difficulty that threatened to derail the release of iPhone 15: until recently, there were persistent rumours about problems with 48-megapixel sensors, without which the assembly would not have been possible. However, Apple representatives confidently confirm that all difficulties with sensors are a thing of the past, and the lack of work force will be filled in the near future by attracting new staff to Foxconn, cash bonuses and cooperation with Shenzhen Luxshare Precision, which is ready to take on the production of smartphones together with Foxconn.

If Apple's ambitious plans come true, 85-90 million smartphones will go on sale this summer, mainly the Pro version as the most in demand.
