Anker has officially introduced users to the first portable projector that can accompany its owner on trips and hikes.

Adapted for outdoor use, Nebula Mars 3 is endowed with characteristics that allow it to compete with the best home TVs:

  • The ability to project an image onto a screen with a diagonal of up to 200 inches (however, if perfect picture quality is of great importance to you, it is advisable to stay within 150);
  • Maximum resolution 1920X1080 px.;
  • Auto-tuning for keystone distortion correction;
  • Brightness of 1000-lumens, which is twice the capabilities of the previous version;
  • Three 40 W speakers with realistic surround sound, thanks to which Nebula Mars 3 can serve as a speaker without video if desired.

The projector runs on Android TV 11.0 OS. USB-C, USB-A and HDMI ports provide wired interaction with other electronic gadgets, while Chromecast and Bluetooth provide wireless data transfer. You can set it to obey voice commands using Google Assistant.

The title of the projector that is ready to move with the owner as far from home as you like, Nebula Mars 3 has received for a non-removable 185 W battery, which provides it with the ability to work up to 15 hours without interruption in speaker mode and 5 hours in projector mode, while the LED screen will allow you to monitor the level of charge. The only negative: in the second case, the brightness will have to be limited to at least 300 lumens. If your plans do not include such a long period of work, the projector can be turned into a powerful camping lantern or a power bank f for untimely discharged gadgets.

Nebula Mars 3 is equipped with a stand that adapts to the features of the surface and its case is IPX3 waterproof and dirt resistant. If you accidentally knock over the projector from a small height (up to half a meter), with a high degree of probability it will remain intact. Also, the device is equipped with a cover that protects the lens from chips and other damage, and is equipped with a handle to comfortably move it from place to place.

The exact release date has not yet been announced, but the Anker website is open for pre-order at the price of $900. Manufacturers advise potential buyers not to waste time thinking, because with open sales, which should start in July, the cost of Nebula Mars 3 will reach $1,100.
