Nokia starts producing phones again
Until recently, it seemed that the Finnish company was done with the smartphone business forever, having resold Nokia Devices & Services to Microsoft, but recent data suggests that the former giant is still afloat and may be planning to catch up soon. True, with some reservations.

According to a press release presented recently, we can soon expect the arrival on the market of new devices HHRA501x and IS540.1, created in collaboration with the German i.safe MOBILE and belonging to the category of industrial phones.

Nokia HHRA501x

This means that they:

  • Have a maximum degree of protection against dust and water IP68 and are able to maintain performance in extreme conditions, including high temperatures, high humidity and shock. In addition, such phones are resistant to the passage of time and last longer than other devices.
  • They are extremely easy to operate, and the design of the case and the screen structure allow you to manipulate the phone without removing protective gloves.
  • Allows you to have a conversation with several interlocutors at once through EMBMS, as well as show them a video.

A company representative emphasized that these are not standard smartphones for use in everyday situations, but rugged laptop computers for use in workshops, warehouses, oil and gas production, as well as in areas with risk of explosion. The devices comply with all established standards, have received the necessary certificates and support all the necessary frequency ranges.

Both phones run Android 12, come with dual SIM ports and virtual eSIM support. The IS540.1 phone boasts an 8-core Qualcomm QCM6490 processor, 8 gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes of internal memory, a 48 megapixel camera and a 4400 mAh battery.
