Dark fantasy ASTRA: Knights of Veda will be released on smartphones and PCs on April 2
South Korean computer game developer FLINT, together with the South Korean conglomerate HYBE IM, announced the release day of the multiplayer 2D action RPG ASTRA: Knights of Veda. The release is expected on April 2, but you can pre-register and receive the prizes promised to the first users – support packs, gold, Cleansing Stones and Communication Crystals – right now in Google Play and Apple Store and on the game website (for all platforms).

Gamers will have to try on the role of a warrior-magician, chosen by the beautiful inhabitant of the skies Veda, to put an end to the tyranny of the insane ruler Magnus and destroy the Tree of Death, which generates mutations and turns residents into terrible monsters.

To accomplish all this, you will:

  • Move around different locations alone or in the company of other players;
  • Explore the history of the world of Planis, learn the secrets of your own past and see how the threads of the characters’ destinies are intricately intertwined;
  • Resist numerous temptations;
  • Fight hordes of monstrous animals and undead;
  • Defeat formidable Bosses;
  • Complete tasks and receive rewards;
  • Master tactical combat, developing useful skills and striking power;
  • Gather knights with unique skills and equipment, forming them into an invincible squad.

The developers advise players to be more careful, because sometimes even the most insignificant things can determine the outcome of the most epic battle.

Apparently, ASTRA: Knights of Veda will be free-to-play, with a store for in-game purchases, although the status of the game has not been officially announced yet. It is distinguished by pleasant 2D graphics with good detail, a beautiful, albeit dark, and at times even cruel fantasy world in art style and interesting characters voiced by professional actors (true fans may even recognize voices familiar from Reverse 1999). We will also have animated inserts with dialogues.
