Adventure game about searching for objects and treasures Wind Peaks has received a mobile version on Google Play
Casual hidden object game Wind Peaks launched on PCs in 2020 and received mostly positive reviews on Steam. Old-timers associated it with the cult TV series “Twin Peaks” because of its unique atmosphere; although the developers themselves consider it more appropriate to compare it with the equally famous animated series “Gravity Falls”. However, in both cases, it is clear that gamers were in for a unique, exciting adventure, during which they would have to rack their brains a lot.

On March 13, 2024, the game received a mobile version for Android with an official release on Google Play, where it can be purchased at a price of 2.4 to 3.4 dollars, depending on the discount. There are no plans to create a version for iOS, so gamers will most likely have to make do with what they have.

The plot of the game revolves around 5 boy scouts who always find themselves in different, not always safe situations. One day they find a map indicating the location of the treasure and set off on a new adventure through an enchanted forest.

The gameplay is divided into 10 parts, before each new part there is a short cut-scene, but it opens after all the important objects of the previous part scattered around the area have been found.

Players note the following strengths of Wind Peaks:

  • Easy and intuitive gameplay;
  • Visual style that ignores the complex hyper-realistic graphics of the new generation, but captivates with its uniqueness;
  • A simple linear world without the chaos of random elements and multiverses;
  • Quite a benevolent tone of the story, without bloody murders and other types of violence;
  • Pleasant atmosphere of the summer holidays - rich, interesting and carefree, leaving positive emotions.

Only one aspect has been seriously criticized, namely the brevity of the action. Many gamers found themselves disappointed after finishing the game within an hour and a half.
