Closed beta test of Broken Ranks Mobil has entered the second phase
The creator of the mobile version of the turn-based MMORPG Broken Ranks, Polish indie developer Whitemoon Games, continues to follow the plan published in March of this year. The first stage of testing, which started on June 16 and was held in a closed mode, is officially over, and the second stage was launched on August 1. This time, its participants will be on public servers, marked with an icon with a smartphone image, and will be able to contact their friends. In addition, the developer is going to periodically share test results and changes in plans with players.
If everything continues to develop according to the planned scenario, in the fall, the mobile version of Broken Ranks will have a third stage of technical tests with the involvement of a narrow circle of selected gamers and optimization of the game in such a way as to make the versions for Android and iOS devices a full-fledged analogue of the game for PC, and not a temporary simplified substitute for it in the situation when the computer is not at hand.
At the moment, it seems that Broken Ranks really has too small interface for a full-fledged gameplay, so gamers can rightly expect the appearance of new features and settings. Let us recall that in December last year, the game was already optimized on mobile devices of different power, and it was the interface that caused the most complaints then, although most of the players involved in testing said that they were able to immerse themselves in the dark but exciting world of Broken Ranks.
Otherwise, judging by the screenshots, Whitemoon Games is making a pretty decent sandbox simulator.
