ALTDEUS: Beyond Chronos with mecha battles and a branching narrative will go mobile
The adventure game with visual novel graphics and VR headset support ALTDEUS: Beyond Chronos was released in February 2021 for PC and PlayStation 4, received several awards, critical acclaim, and positive reviews from players, and should become available to mobile gamers in the very near future. At the moment, pre-registration has already begun on Google Play and the App Store, so it is safe to say that Android and iOS owners will be able to enjoy this bright action in the science fiction genre. The release is scheduled for October 10.

The game takes the gamer to Tokyo in the 23rd-24th centuries, where humanity, pushed into the dungeons by some creatures called "Meteors", is desperately fighting for survival. The player will have to go through a difficult and dangerous path, taking on the role of a resistance fighter, a militant girl Chloe, who dashingly pilots a futuristic humanoid weapon, avenges her dead friend and dreams of ridding her hometown of Meteors.

ALTDEUS Beyond Chronos

ALTDEUS: Beyond Chronos has an impressively branched non-linear plot, artificial intelligence as a prompter in dialogues and several endings, the choice of which is determined by the gamer's actions during the game.

The developer, MyDearest, promises:

  • about 15-20 hours of gameplay with battles of huge mecha robots;
  • adventures that encourage the player to communicate with other characters and solve riddles, advancing the plot;
  • concerts of anime beauties during breaks.

The soundtracks include music by ASCA, R!N, YuNi and other artists.

It is known that the game will be paid, with a price tag of about 12-13 dollars.
