Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road is being developed for PC, consoles and smartphones
The continuation of the Inazuma Eleven series of role-playing sports games, which Level-5 studio announced back in 2016, and then postponed the releases several times and changed the name of the series, will finally reach PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4-5 and mobile devices based on Android and iOS. The world premiere is scheduled for 2025 without specifying the date, but for now gamers have access to a demo version, which can be played via Steam and PS Store. The game is now called Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, and according to the publisher, it has already been downloaded over 2 million times, demonstrating the keen interest of gamers all over the world.

INAZUMA ELEVEN Victory Road

According to the developers, the new series should “return to the roots” of Inazuma Eleven, but at the same time it will change the players’ view of the entire story and demonstrate several additions:

  • Abilearn Board. A system for developing the skills and abilities of characters.
  • Bond Link. A mechanism for more coordinated interaction between team members.
  • Chronicle Mode. Allows newcomers to immerse themselves into the plot of previous Inazuma Eleven series through single-player competition routes, and experienced fans to experience moments of pleasant nostalgia.
  • Bond Town. A mechanic for creating your own avatars and building a city with the ability to collect useful items for its development and new characters in other modes.
  • Commander Mode. The most controversial function, which allows you to give orders to football players in real time through the menu instead of controlling them directly. It is known that some gamers were unhappy with it, considering it too inconvenient.

The publisher promises that the game will have 4,500 characters from different series, which can be combined into a team and trained, preparing for matches with other teams from different parts of the world. There will also be simulation elements for playing the role of the main character.

But that's not all the news. It has been announced that in 2026, fans of the original Inazuma Eleven will see a remake with the same hero, but an updated story and more impressive capabilities.
