Reviver demo is available on Steam, full version for PC and mobile is expected in winter
Have you heard about the "butterfly effect" – the ability of small, even insignificant decisions of a person, to lead to global changes not only in his life, but also in the lives of strangers? Have you ever thought about time, which sometimes slows down, sometimes speeds up its course? Have you thought about fate, which unpredictably brings us together with some people and separates us from others?
The developers of Cotton Game definitely thought about it. Their new adventure game Reviver contains not only puzzles and mini-games, but also philosophical ideas, which, against the backdrop of locations drawn by hand in a unique, eye-catching style, gives the game a special charm. And all this is presented softly, without pathos, in the style of light narration, so that you can fully immerse yourself in the process and get real pleasure.
Reviver consists of several locations, each of which tells the player its own story through interaction with objects that will come to life thanks to detailed animation, and also offers to solve numerous riddles – in total, there are more than 50 of them in Reviver. But be careful when making decisions! Later, the game will show you how they affected the characters, which, by the way, become older and older as you move towards the final. Will you bring two loving hearts together? Will you break them by separation? What secrets will you be able to learn? Time will tell...
Reviver is scheduled to be released this coming winter simultaneously on PC and Android and iOS mobile devices. There is no set date, no pre-registration on Google Play or App Store, but Steam is already offering gamers an early demo. Unlocking the full version is rumored to cost $4.99.
