Surreal quest Follow the Meaning will be released on smartphones on April 9
The indie hand-drawn quest Follow the Meaning, previously warmly received by Steam users, will soon appear on mobile platforms. The developers from Second Maze announced that the official port of the game will be released on iOS and Android on April 9, 2025. Pre-orders are already available in the App Store and Google Play.

The original game was released on November 22, 2024 on PC, and has since received many positive reviews, primarily for its atmospheric visual style and intriguing, multi-layered plot. Follow the Meaning combines surreal aesthetics with intricate storytelling and gameplay that requires an unconventional approach – all in the signature style of Second Maze, the creators of philosophical and mysterious projects.

Follow the meaning

Players will take on the role of detective Paul Trilby, who receives a mysterious letter from a remote island city divided by a wall and controlled by a mysterious organization – the Hospital. Those who dare to enter this city return without memory. To unravel the chain of secrets, you will have to communicate with locals, show ingenuity and approach tasks from an unconventional side.

Follow the Meaning was inspired by cult projects like Samorost and Rusty Lake. On average, the passage will take about an hour and a half, but the atmosphere and philosophical subtext will leave a much deeper impression.

If you like atmospheric quests with an unconventional presentation, this game is definitely worth your attention.
