Tencent launches closed beta testing of LIGHT OF MOTIRAM

A closed beta test of a new cross-platform project from Tencent, LIGHT OF MOTIRAM, has started in China. This is a large-scale MMORPG with survival elements and a primitive but high-tech world, in which tribal buildings and mechanical animals live side by side.
At the moment, only 10,000 selected participants who have passed the preliminary selection have received access to the game. They can download and try the game on Android, iOS, and PC. Test servers are already working, and the first feedback from gamers indicates the serious potential of the project.
LIGHT OF MOTIRAM combines the visual style and atmosphere reminiscent of Horizon Zero Dawn: players find themselves in a huge open world where they need to survive, build, hunt and explore abandoned territories. Control is manual – no auto-combat or auto-quests. This makes the gameplay deeper and more engaging.

Players start alone: with minimal resources and a simple base. Gradually, they develop their settlement, tame mechanical animals, team up with other survivors and begin to penetrate closed areas. The game includes raids on huge bosses, hunting, collecting resources, flying on riding creatures and even building your own house with friends.
Despite the fact that the game was originally developed for the Chinese market, the interface is intuitive even for those who do not speak the language. This opens up a potential audience outside of China – including fans of survival games and classic MMORPGs.
When the global launch will take place or open beta testing will open has not yet been announced. However, interest in the project is growing, including thanks to impressive graphics, smooth animation and a lively, rich world.
