Honor of Kings: ACE gets mobile release date
A new mobile auto-battler set in the Honor of Kings universe has received a confirmed release date. Honor of Kings: ACE will be available on iOS and Android starting September 10. At launch, the game will be downloadable via the App Store and the local TapTap platform.
The project has already garnered significant attention from players ahead of its full launch. Honor of Kings: ACE currently ranks second on the list of most anticipated games on the Chinese version of TapTap, trailing only Ananta, which the audience is awaiting even more eagerly.
However, ACE clearly isn't trying to be a simple alternative to Teamfight Tactics. According to players who have tried the early version, the gameplay appears more complex and noticeably less arcade-like.

Before each round, players do more than just place fighters on the board and upgrade summoned characters; they must also manage currency, decide how to spend it, and select random power-ups. The result is a blend of tactics, resource management, and an element of luck.
The developers have paid special attention to the tutorial. Players familiar with the early version note that the introduction to core mechanics is quite detailed. That said, discussions regarding game balance have already begun.
The main question for the international audience now is when the game will be released outside its initial region. Players abroad are already urging the developers not to delay the global launch. As of now, however, no official launch date outside of China has been announced.
